Much like Seven, Thirteen is a lot different style then the way I normally shoot, but I’ll say it again, it is the whole point of my project to get me out of my zone, and trying new things. (…More About Project 365 Here…)

I saved Nikki’s Image for 13 because I wanted to use a ghost effect on it, and it only seemed right with the superstitious connotations the number 13 gets to have it done with this image. We shot this image in a back alley in downtown Traverse City. Although I have not used it recently, those of you who have followed my work for awhile, will recognize this wall. Five years ago, it was where I did my first ever model shoot, and I have been partial to it ever since.

I wanted my ghost image to have a very New York feel to it, and because I wasn’t shooting in New York, I knew I needed a New York-Esque model. I have known Nikki from doing Runway shows together, and instantly knew she would be a perfect fit! Also big round of applause for Nikki, while this image was being taken she was attacked by a hair tie her boyfriend flung at her. I would post the really funny after effect images, but letting you all use your imagination is so much better. Image
